Yesterday, I was amazed at the length that the news outlets have gone through to remove the work sh*tty.

I listened or tried to listen to the trial of the Goldman-Sachs execs by the congress, more specifically tried to listen to Levin repeat the words allegedly used by the execs in a memo which was just an annoying beep.

I could not figure out what they were getting at until I listened to CBC this morning and it wasn't bleeped.

Why are we so afraid of words?

Isn't it time we act as others?

I agree with you and not afraid to use words. I agree, furthermore, about the work must be sh*tty, but that last part ... listened or tried the trial ... you a judge now? lawyer? hmmm ... maybe a legal analyist eh?

I think the admins should penalize mega posters when they make blunders, to the tune of 100 posts from your totals. This will ensure our mega posters will not make errors, and force them to read what they type before they post it.

Exemption: OVM
Reason: Canadian. And a nice guy!

Wait! Canadians are nice guys, so OVM gets exempted for no reason whatsoever!!!

This reminds me of the municipalities that are trying to outlaw the decorative scrotums some drivers dangle from the rear of their vehicle. The reason given is some variant of "to protect the children."

They need to stop being so easily offended at normal anatomy and take their children to a petting zoo to demystify scrotilia.

You mean the "hey, look at me I have a tiny one and attempt to make up for it by putting this stupid thing on the back of my pickup truck to show how easily I'm separated from my money and how insecure I am overall" decoration some people put on vehicles?

Those are the ones. I disapprove of them less than I disapprove of the people who think they're obscene and that children should be shielded from them.
