They have advertised that they wiil meet or beat any competitors price. Sounds like they want you to work cheap.I also note they do not go to Canada or handle Hazmat.
BEST OF LUCK!!!

redytrk,

I think there might be a misunderstanding here about how they will "beat any competitors price". I believe that's directed toward prospective contractors and that they will try to offer competitive
compensation in comparison with other carriers.

This is from their website:

At the current time we do not haul HazMat material. We also are not hauling into Canada or New Mexico.

New Mexico? or the country of Mexico? Hmmmmm

As with most trucking outfits, cheap rates translate into cheap compensation for the driver.

I phoned and spoke @ length to their recruiter ("Stewart") last week.
He became defensive when inquired about their DH policies...said I sounded as if I was "financially destitute." - LOL
He also stated that anyone driving a "D"-sized unit in today's expedite world were NOT fiscally prudent, pointing at issues of unused space and unnecessary truck weight, suggesting a 26k GVW as IDEAL for expediting.

What a joke...

Sounds to me like he has something to hide? I would translate "financially destitute" as... "What, you can't afford to eat the deadhead?"

As I've said before.... if the recruiter feels it necessary to insult you, how will the company treat you?

Just my opinion.....
