Really ? ..... what do you make of this then ?:Air Guns shouldn't be a problem because "Firearms" are not a problem. If the state you are in allows you to carry a firearm, there is no Federal Rule or law that says you can't have one in a CMV

Unless otherwise provided in this subchapter, the following explosives shall not be offered for transportation or transported:
(f) A loaded firearm (except as provided in 49 CFR 1544.219).
(the exemption mentioned in 49 CFR 1544.219 above applies only to flying and aircraft)
Doesn't look like it's covered Federally .... but the ammo is still Class 1 .... although it may be covered by one or more exemptions (including reclassification to ORM-D) ....Whats the slant if it transported unloaded?

Irrelevant to the original question asked, but not necessarily irrelevant to a statement made in the thread by another member ....So, since no gunpowder is involved in a pellet gun I'd say it's irrelevant.
