I'm at the J in Peculiar, Mo. Tried to get a shower, but they said I had to pay half. I have 6 half showers available. Left a message with headquarters.

I hope this isn't a new policy. I'll post what I find out, whether it's just this particular J, or just a clerk who doesn't know what she's doing. I'll get to the bottom of this.

I've been driving hard this week and was really itchin' to take a shower, and I mean that literally. Good thing I still have my Y membership!

I just left the J shower in W. Memphis and got the usual for tow 1/2 credits. I think you just met an onery clerk

same thing happened to me yesterday in indy, had to pay half of the shower, i no i had at least 4 half credits because i put over 22 gallons in my tank for 4 days in a row..so i ordered a new card i figured the old one wasnt swiping, now i want my 4 dollars back

Met a van guy In Whiteland J Ind.last night and he paid for half a shower as well....We just got one here in Franklin KY for the usual 2 credits..BUT something seems to be in the wind..

could be b/c they changed the price of their showers last week, they are now 8.50 price change went into effect last friday.

Yes Patrick.

The shower scanner reads 4.25 per credit soooo 2 credits would = 8.50 but some are having to pay 4.50 more.

Question to those who paid the extra? Did they take ONE credit PLUS 4.50 cash?

I swiperd my card at the card reader. Did any of you do the same or go to the fuel desk? The signs announcing the new price also sez that the FF card will still provide the shower. If this keeps up, we're going to need an SFC; Shower SurCharge.

so 4.25 +4.50= 8.75

because we get 10 gals under 50 they are going to grab an extra 25 cents? How petty.

I just don't see the issue here, many of you got sprinters, you got heat - all you need is a 1 inch hole in the floor and one of them Zodi hot water shower systems and you never have to worry about it again.

I got my shower, NC. If the clerk doesn't know the correct codes, it rings up a haft shower discounted shower. The showers are priced per location. I have a shower invoice from Beaverdam that says $6.50. Anthony TX, $11.25. Water's expensive out west.

Here are the correct codes. This is off the invoice.

I suspect a programming glitch with half credits.

They were probably still coded as $3.25 and no one caught that when then changed the price of their showers.

It also happened to me in Blacksburg, SC.

I was standing there swiping my card several times and I happened to notice several "Real" truckers waiting impatiently behind me.

As I turned to walk away empty handed, and shower-less, by the Grace of God one of those "Real" truckers said, "Here, use my card."

I thanked him for his kindness and generosity.
