Ideas for what might be wrong?

2015 MB Sprinter. AC pretty cold at highway speed, but pretty tepid at slower speeds or when idling. Also freezes a couple times per hour when rolling, necessitating turning off the AC for a couple minutes. Than it thaws and air flows again.

Is the fan blowing at max speed? Is it(fan) making any kind of noise? Could need to be cleaned.....have you changed the cabin filter lately? Has the ac ever been recharged?

That's what it turned out to be. The shop guy says there's a slow leak somewhere but he couldn't find it, so he recharged it.

Have it dye tested and use a kit to see it under a uv light.
