"Abu Hamza had alleged that he faced inhumane and degrading treatment if imprisoned for life without possibility of parole."

But murder and taking hostages he's OK with.

Poor baby.

Abu Hamza is being represented by lawyers at Sonn Macmillan Walker Assange but the London-based firm declined to disclose the grounds for the appeal, so there.

Didja see this? Where the BBC issued a grovelling apology to the Queen for reporting her comments about the matter?
BBC News - BBC apology to Queen over Abu Hamza disclosure

The more interesting take on that story is from NBC News reporter Keir Simmons who apparently lives in a fantasy world. Royal censorship? BBC says 'sorry' for daring to report UK queen's comments - World News

The story itself is pretty bland, recounting what happened, but the fantasy world Simmons lives in can be found in the first two paragraphs of the story, the "setup reference" to the piece.

LONDON - Imagine this: President Barack Obama makes an indiscreet remark to a reporter. The White House complains after the journalist reports the newsworthy encounter. The reporter and his network apologize.

Hard to visualize, isn’t it?
I actually laughed out loud when I read that last sentence. Hard to visualize? Nope, because we've seen it happen more than once.

Other than Harry, who can't seem to keep his mouth shut, when was the last time a member of the Royal Family spoke out on something political? King George, maybe? LOL

The last thing this world needs is off-the-record comments by the Queen being reported in public. Sheesh.
