A real newbie

I'd like to introduce everyone to my new partner, Kenzie. She's a 3 yr old Boston terrier/Pug from a rescue called A New Leash on Life, and she is absolutely terrific! Already housebroken, obedient, well mannered, curious, good natured, healthy, and loves to "go for a ride", lol.
We're visiting with Jeanie/GottaGo & Susie in Toledo right now, but she wants to meet everyone else, too - hope to see you all soon! :D
PS if you do meet her, be warned: she is a stealth kisser......

Nice dog!

Glad you found what you wanted in a partner.

I can't wait meet her, and you too, of course.

PS. I like dog kisses. My parrot loves kissing on us. :)

Y'all ought to be ashamed of y'all selves talking about unnatural relations and lovin on dogs and birds. This is supposed to be a Christian place. Any how, i'm glad you adoped that dog. I only wish more people would give a good home to needly animals.

"No such thing as a stealth kisser"?! According to my 18 yr old daughter there is, and Kenzie is faster than any of the guys, lol. (I raised my eyebrows, but didn't ask - I really don't want to know)
PS I could have saved the money for the 'dog bed' - she prefers my blankets. Does any dog actually sleep in their dog bed?

Cheri, the dog bed can be used as a time out spot. If she ever misbehaves you can train her to go there when she's told. When we lived in a house the bathroom was Dingle's spot. In the truck he goes into the closet for time out.

Congrats!!
Rescue dogs are the best and so are the people who rescue them!
We are jealous because we would love to have a dog travel with us but the purple meanies say NO to dogs in white glove.:(

enjoy.

Congratulations Kenzie on finding a really good owner! Don't let Cheri make you do all of the pre trip inspections, rear door openings and fueling just because you're a newbie.

The following attachments are proof that a dog will sleep in a dog bed. Maybe not their dog bed, but a dog bed.

Oh Cheri cannot wait to meet her! Molly is tentatively interested as long as she does not move to fast as she cannot keep up with her.

Dakota say's welcome Kenzie ,and just keep track of all the states you travel thru. I use to be leased to NothAmerican Van Lines and I had a Husky that we have gone thru every state except Utah and nevada. Now Im new to Expedtiding and my travel partner is Dakota. So if you see a German Shepard with head out of CV window, well could be us going bye. seeya

Kenzie believes her only job is to be adorable - but so far, no one has tested her ferociousness except my sister's 3 dogs, and Kenzie didn't back off an inch.
The Jack Russell in Moot's pics made Lyla sleep on the littlest dog bed - bet Kenzie'd make her sleep on the floor, hahaha.
Poor Lyla! Big dogs are really marshmallows, eh?

Cheri,

Glad you found a great friend!

Without a doubt the best companion on the road is a dog. My Jack (Kipper) - -still loves a good road trip. :D

Well, since Bob saw that picture of Kenzie the other night he just won't shut up about her! It's all, "Kenzie this", "Kenzie that", blah, blah, blah. He's bugging me to go with so he can meet her. But, I told him the drool and the gas would have to be kept in check. He's not doing so good with that...
