If the driver is paying for the fuel there may be something going in his/her personal life as most drivers won't deadhead 1000 miles on their dine. If the driver has been good in the past I'm sure they can be once again. Call contractor and find out what is going on. You and your Contractor have to agree what is fair for both. Have a contract for your contractors to sign so everyone knows where each other stands. Good luck.
