This guy and the woman that follows him around are dangerous. I've said it from the start, he has a hiddon agenda. He is doing everything he can get away with to take down America. The sad thing is if he gets re-elected the majority of the people has given him a pass.

It is IMHO, all about ENTITLEMENTS in America. The ENTITLEMENT CROWD will elect Obama. It is a given. Peoples minds are made up and the pied piper crowd is in charge.(ex; Chicago school teachers new deal, they cried long and hard and got their entitlement).
When a nation can print more money and make fun of printing money for entitlement people , it will not be long before the ship sinks. It boggles my mind that our schools of business and finance are not on the news saying this is stupid. Ah, then I remember, they, the universities are getting federal monies and there you go, thus, an entitlement or freebeeeeeees. A vicious and never ending story and we are on our way to the 3rd world economics.

More manufactured outrage, I see. BTW, Sky, who said Jesus wasn't married?

I dunno. I showed the Obama flag to my step-dad, who think Obama walks on water and doesn't get his feet wet. He was incensed at the flag. Is convinced that Obama didn't sanction it and doesn't know anything about it, despite me showing it to him on the official barakobama.com Web site. He thinks the site is a phony. Thinks Republicans made up the site, despite reading the Copyright on the site.

Latest polling shows Obama and Romney in a dead heat about who would do a better job handling the economy. Are you kidding me? On the one hand we have Romney who has a solid history of successfully managing money and economies, while on the other hand we have Obama who's entire history of managing the same is one of abject failure.

It does baffle the mind. Well....no not really. Much different times. Romney did have it right on that "47 percent aren't voting for me".
Romney has a uphill battle because the electorate really has turned in to those that take against those who are footing the bill.
What I find interesting is just looking at welfare. When unemployment was 4 to 5 percent, wefare rolls were roughly 7 to 8 million. We now have a little over 8 percent with the actual around 14 percent. Sooooo, one would think welfare would double to maybe 16 million reflective of the unemployment.
But...not even close. Now we have 48 million on the rolls not counting a 30 percent increase on social security disability.

The poll I saw was worded: "which candidate would you TRUST to handle the economy"
"trust" may be the key word.

Unfortunately his "solid" history is becoming a "shaky" history and it has become difficult to trust his braggadocios claims.

He has bragged that he gave away all of his inheritance; therefore, he is a self made man.
Ann stated that they lived off of the inheritance for years.

He stated that he "saved" the Olympics.
Olympic officials say that claim is an exaggeration.
$1 billion was already in place and the Bush made sure the Gov't. kicked in another 1.5 billion.
To think that our country would ever let the Olympics fail is naive.

He brags about balancing the budget in Massachusetts.
He balanced the STATE budget by screwing over the CITIES and TOWNS.

"Romney largely balanced the budget by cutting state aid to cities and towns, many of which responded by raising property taxes. In his first two years in office, Romney presided over a 15 percent cut in spending on unrestricted aid to cities and towns; he also cut more than 4 percent of funding for local schools."
Result was a net increase in taxes.
In part why his disapproval rating went from 33% to 65%.

He has bragged about "turning companies around" while at Bain.
He used the easiest method of increasing profits.
Reduce the largest variable expense by reducing the workforce.

He has managed to confuse many of the American people who may feel it is easier to TRUST a known entity *(even a bad one) than to cross your fingers on the hard to trust bragging rich loose cannon guy.:(

He actually never said he "saved" the Olympics. After living off his inheritance, as soon as he didn't need it anymore he gave away what was left. And he didn't screw over cities and towns, he balanced the STATE budget by ceasing handouts to cities and towns whom the STATE isn't responsible for in the first place. It's not the entire population of Massachusetts' obligation to subsidize this city or that town.

It's something the US should consider doing, as well. We're so far in debt it's not funny, yet we keep giving billions of dollars of taxpayer's money to foreign countries who take the money with one hand while thumbing their nose at us with the other.

His job at Bain Capital was to make money, and he did that. He was a success. He did his job. Obama's job is to oversee responsible government spending and create conditions for economic growth. He spent more than any president in history, more than the GDP of most countries, with nothing to show for it other than depressed economic growth, increased unemployment, and a dramatic increase of the welfare rolls.

Trust who?

If the Cities, Counties, and States would live within their budgets they wouldn't need to rely on the next higher level of Government to pay for 'stuff'. It amazes me (actually pi$$es me off) when I hear a local politician say, " No local funds were used for this public project." Do they think that someone that cares about where the money came from is so stupid that they don't know that it is still tax money. They try to use that phrase when it is for a stupid project like 'Main street revitalization', like a tree in the middle of town will encourage me to go there to get mugged.

As I understand it Mitt's father helped them financially while they were starting out, by the time Mitt inherited money from his father he was already wealthy and gave the money away.

As far as the Olympics is concerned I think his statement is that he "Helped save the Olympics" He was brought in to turn the culture around and add credibility to the Olympic committee. He did that.

The way turn around companies work is not just throwing out half the work force, Often times they first cut the fat. They bring in people who are experts in their fields, like finance, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, R&D and so forth. They determine what fat to cut, while simultaneously determining which products or services are profitable. Those that are not are looked at to see what would be required to make it profitable. If it can't be done profitably then they look to sell off that part of the business, If it can't be sold it's shut down and the people moved or removed, evil?. If you don't analyze your business, you will probably go broke, right?

It amazes me that people can read the same thing about someone or something and come up with two entirely different views.

Dependency is the problem. Towns, cities, states, and many people, can no longer survive without hand outs. They all have ONE thing in common, they do not 'trust' anyone who would cut off the gravy train. They no long know how to survive on their own. Power mongers know this and play on the fear of the weak.

Yeah like the woman I saw on the news last night who's house is being foreclosed put a sign on her roof that read "OBAMA SAVE MY HOME' hoping he would see it from his plane.
