Just paid .17 per gallon in 1960s Minnesota. I knew that time machine was going to be a good investment.
One comment from an AP News story just cracks me up:
"The oil industry was trying to find out how severe damage was to at least 10 production platforms destroyed by the storm."
Uhm, if the platforms were destroyed, one would think the oil industry would be smart enough to figure out that the damage is pretty severe.
Incidentally, Katrina destroyed 44 platforms. Damage was pretty severe to those, too.
