What Fuel hike?

I would expect it to be high in the north east but it isn't.

Paid with my discounts $3.68 a gallon, wow!

But now my wife paid $4.19 a gallon this morning - that is an 80 cents increase.

$4.19 a gallon (gas) pilot in ionia mich and to think oil plummeted to below 94.00 a barrel today.....speculators should be shot....it should be called treason...

One comment from an AP News story just cracks me up:

"The oil industry was trying to find out how severe damage was to at least 10 production platforms destroyed by the storm."

Uhm, if the platforms were destroyed, one would think the oil industry would be smart enough to figure out that the damage is pretty severe.

Incidentally, Katrina destroyed 44 platforms. Damage was pretty severe to those, too.
