A Christmas Note to You…

I hope everyone reading this forum has made it back "to the house" for Christmas. Without a doubt a truck stop is a lonely place for the holidays.

I want to thank each and every one of you for participating in our forums and EO this year. With 2006 around the corner – we will enter our 8th year on the Internet. We also hit some new milestones this year – we finally broke the 4,000 visitors a day mark. Truly, amazing – I can recall when we had 50 visitors a day. We also completed our first full year of the EO Expediter Workshop Series in cities all across the country. The 5th Annual Expedite Expo had the best year ever and our listeners at XM Radio has exploded!

I would also like to thank our dedicated Moderators – Rich, Dave, Dale, Terry and Leo. If you ever wonder how much they help – just take a look at their number of posts – collectively they have over 5,000! If you haven’t already – be sure to add their positive ratings.

The EO team at the office has done an outstanding job this year - Jeff Jensen our Editor, Sean Masters our Sales Manager, Micki McIntyre our New Business Development Manager, Debbie McCord my assistant, Monte Stetler our Business Manager, Jim Roe our IT Manager and Jack Douglas our web developer.

Also, we are grateful to our many sponsors and advertisers – they support the many services we provide for the industry: our XM Radio Show – The Expediters News Break, The Expedite Expo, The EO Expediter Workshop Series and our Expediter Magazine…Expedite NOW and of course – Expediters Online.com.

Many of us have seen first hand, the appreciation that expediter aspirants have shown at the Mid-America Truck Show, The Expedite Expo and the 2005 EO Expediter Workshop Series held in nine different cities. We all have seen many of our members who, this time last year, were asking that most common of all questions, "Can you make any money at expediting?" Many of these new folks are now successful Independent Contractors who achieved much of their knowledge from this forum and its many members. We each have Lawrence McCord and his staff to thank for their vision in developing this site and their dedication to promoting this facinating segment of the surface transportation industry
