He's askin' about Blair Enterprises, Inc.,

T. Roberson II out of Louisville, Kentucky runs it...

I've heard some things, anybody care to comment?

What I've heard: Mans got 7 trucks, pays .50, .55, & .60 cpm to the driver-all company trucks, claims less than 15% deadhead.

I thought I'd heard they pay fuel, tolls & everything AND on dead-head they pay fuel as well, actually, I'd heard they'd had only 8% deadhead.

Just saw an A Blair truck at the Pilot in Laredo, TX. He/she was leaving so I didn't get a chance to ask them anything. But, at least you know they travel as far as Laredo, Tx. If we see them again, we'll try and ask a few question about the company.

Hey!! Thanks for the info. They told me that I probably could expect to either go to Arlington or Laredo Texas once a week. I think that's just dandy!!

chet, it sounds like you found an owner/carrier that has what you are looking for as far as getting back to your home state.i would caution you to get everything in writing as to what the owner expects from his drivers as far as home time and availability.and also compensations and wages, it could prevent problems for you later. good luck. Yeah, but your posts are readable. You tend to capitalize the first letter of a sentence and put at least one period at the end of them. :D
