MoonProwler.all I can say is that old axiom. You attract more flies with honey than you do with #####. Perhaps a attitude adjustment might help you. Not all companys do equal work out of all areas. The shipping counts out of Detroit and the rest of Michigan are probably down 20 % of what they were a year ago.

Hey Rich
Nothing against you. But if you where out there as much as myself and many other drivers are, you'd have never written that reply. I write facts not fiction. I write after haveing seen loads, load paperwork, after hearing from other drivers and company office employees. After haveing seen other company load boards. Facts are facts.
But I also know the forum moderators will usually try and bury a post if they cant answer a post or its dumping on the company their a part of. Other forums call in backup and demolish a post they cant answer or its their company being ridiculed.

RE: RICH-M

Believe me none of the Moderators on EO dump a post to protect a company. As far as my experience goes I ran for Roberts then FedexCC for over 20 years. I have seen ups and lows for various express centers. The point I was trying to make is bitching and complaining gets you nowhere but frustrated. Think positive, get out of an area where you can't get loads and work the system as the system will not work for you. Good luck.

RE: RICH-M

Sorry guys but after a while this gets tiring.

I got to say between this and the Canada stuff, I think people need to understand that if it is up to the company, be it panther or FedEx or whom ever, we would be running our a**es off and everyone would be rich.

We are in a customer centric business, like it or not and we don’t move without a customer wanting something moved.

If you think of this any other way, think again.

Oh yea, as Rich hinted at, it is all about attitude in this business.

Attitude, ol'e moonrocket's got one don't he. Musta been sold a bill of goods, somewhere along the line. I'm not a fan of the Detroit area, but, ya gotta understand, that EACH place you end up every day is not GOOD EVERY DAY, and is also not BAD EVERY DAY. Good things come, if you have pre planned for the environment. Ya gotta sniff around. The writer that started this thread, could have in fact, been in control of his own destiny, but, chose the easy route, and, placed his success/failure in the hands of other folks. Ya see? I'll give moonrocket nuther six months, what ya think??

Moonprowler, I can tell you that Rich has more experience than just about anyone in this business so suggesting he hasn't been around enough to know what he's talking about is way off base. He might not say what's popular or what somebody wants to hear but you can bet what he says is based on tons of experience and is accurate.
