6L90 6 Speed

Is anyone running the 6L90 6 speed automatic transmission in a Chevrolet/GMC van? I am looking for some real world experience. Can this transmission be manually controlled? As in preventing it from shifting into 6th OD or 5th OD. Does it come with the Tow/Haul mode to lengthen the shift points?

With the extra overdrive I would think fuel mileage should improve. Any pros and cons about this transmission would be appreciated.
