60\40 split

Regarding the monies\compensation split between fleet owner & driver(s). If the fleet owner keeps the 60% including fsc, is the driver(s) compensation 40% before or after the fsc is included?.

The driver gets 40% of the line haul. No fsc.

I understand the driver(s) don't get any of the fuel charge. Which part of 40%. If a straight truck get's say $1.05 plus .60 cents fsc the driver(s) are either looking at 40% of $1.05 or 40% of $1.65. Could be considerable amount of money difference.

You just said you understand they don't get any of the fsc but then asked again if they get 40% of it? No they get none and pay no fuel in this case .40 of 1.05.
