Does 25cpm for all miles work out to about a 40/60 split on a straight truck?

25cpm all miles, 1500 miles per week average, $375 per week, "Hi, welcome to Walmart.", $375 per week, home every night, no road expenses. "Would you like to supersize that?", $375 per week, discount on meals, home every night, no road expenses. I have no idea what percentage split it works to since we don't know the base pay, the percentage deadhead, etc. but local jobs could pay as much or maybe more.

Not enough money for a straight truck. If that's a 60/40 split you better stay away from that company.

That's what I earned driving Solo TT for a company back in 2010 and left.
Was only bringing home $550-600/week.
Awful pay...used the New Driver.

My solo drivers are paid 40% and they are averaging .45 to .49 per mile. we are paid on % so it does vary. Your figure is extremely low !!!

Yeah hey thanks guys. Thought the offer sounded like crap but wanted to make sure. This is an O/O looking to team.

Running team if that's total miles for both srivers it sounds about right on the money.

More info. Could make a difference. If this is a team situation and you drive 1000 miles and he drives 1000 miles and you get 25cpm for 2000 miles that's an entirely different equation than running solo. Now you're at $500 for the week. Not a fortune but with zero vehicle expenses perhaps worth considering and maybe trying out.

.4 * X = .25
x= .25/.40
x =.625
So the owner is telling you the truck is grossing 62.5 cents per mile. Unless you are a team driver.
