Ok, I forgot that I took a pic of the contract from the dealer. I paid $4225. So if your getting it for $3700 it's better than mine.

Another question: what do you guys do for heating? I just ordered webasto (almost $1K), but installation seems painfull. Need to cut into fuel line.
We mainly use Espar and buy and service ours at Espar Of Michigan.
Probably no downgrade from Espar to Webasto.
A lot use Espar because that dealer works this market.
If he dropped Espar and started carrying Webasto I imagine his customers would change also.
In my last truck I put 600,000 miles on a Webasto and never did anything other than turn it on or off.
I had it installed at Carrier in New Haven In prior to placing unit in service.

One thing about a Espar is you need to have it service every 2K hours.
Must be team drivers and the freight industry must have picked up. Last I checked solo drivers were getting around 1500-2500 miles per week and 3000 on the exceptionally good weeks.
I'm only good for about 1000-1500 per week so my options are uship or fleet owner I could probably do 3000 in the 2019 Sprinter, 50k a lot to drop. Let me wait on some used options.

i only service mine whenever the blower motor goes out.
it would help, on my 2013, I ran 100,000 mile warranty off in 18 months. that was running local. I had extend warranty on one of my vans and ran extend warrant off in short amount of time.
I would take a few dollars from each month and put it away in saving account, save it for a rain day
or take that $3,000.00 to start with and add to it each month. so when time came you would have money you need.
my dad use this as idea $.05 of every mile put it in to a maint fund. this was in 80's. you would have to figure out what it cost to day

Installed webasto and connected to the 5 gallon jerry type gas can; works great
I just started my first week and so far so good; 3K miles in 4 days; another 1600 miles for Friday-Sunday from Detroit to Laredo, TX.

Don't go all out now and spend all the money you made (if you made any.) Save some cause there will be times when you will be sitting.

That kinda sounds dangerous to me. Fumes from fuel would bother me. Are you using a gas or diesel Webasto heater? Don’t understand why you are using a 5 gal can. Sprinters are set up with a fuel line off of fuel tank to run heater. Also what are you using to run heater?
I'm confused also..... in post #14 he says
"I won’t be driving the van; I’m a CPA; the friend of mine has a fleetof about 10 vans; they seems busy - 3,000-5,000 miles per week, per van. He will be running the operation for me. I’ll will just pay$100 weekly fixed fee per van. Hopefully it will work out."
Now he says he did 3000 miles in 4 days.....
I just dont know what to think.
Might just mean that's what the driver did.
