How does 2012 look brighter?
The republican party dropped the ball and did nothing other than their usual compromising - absolutely no leadership from them on the debt ceiling issue.
Obama, as much as his numbers have dropped in the polls, has done one amazing thing - told the American people to call their congressman and senators which puts the burden on congress.

Another issue with the Republican Party is their Tea Party wing is primarily made up of establishment types in anti-establishment clothing.

I caught that too during the news briefing.............
It dawned on me that this wasn't a message to all the supporters and voters in the Congressional Members districts to call them to air their concerns, cause quite frankly most Congressman and Senators know what their constituents want, but more of a subliminal note from Obawa telling people to start calling Congressmen and Senators to harass certain members of both Congress and the Senate who are opposing his Utopia Agenda.
I'm quite sure the calls are coming from everywhere and anywhere, even from people who are thousands of miles away. And, it's probably happening to both parties. Harassing calls are being received by Boehner and McConnell by far left loons, as well as Reid receiving harassing calls from concerned right wingers, and both from all over the country.
Obawa just needs to shut the hell up and let this play out. I'm tired of the indicators of how our country is doing, such as the stock market, taking a huge plunge every time he makes one of his "TV" appearances. It's obvious America as a whole doesn't want that a-wipe there in the White House anymore, and why he hasn't realized this yet just befuddles me.
He would almost have to know that he is NOT wanted, but is too Narcisistic to just walk away and is probably hoping that a "miracle" will happen in 2012

Well I think the ones who are narcisistic are in congress and those are both republicans and democrats just the same. Obama has no real chance to compete with them.
The miracle will be if he loses, not if he wins and right now the people seem to be fed up with both parties which will be a problem for one comes next year - the republicans - so this is why many think he will have a second term.
The real issues that come to light is simply that the old guard in congress which is also those in control of RNC is showing the country they have zero leadership skills and not one of the 'possible' candidates for president can distance themselves from that. One reason a bunch of dems and republicans both said the rnc needs to pick someone and run with them - not to take this through the primary process because they will end up losing - and they will.

I fear, but have accepted, that he will be here for another term unless the Pubs do come up with a viable candidate. Our Governor Perry could be the next savior for this country if he would just commit now......
If he waits til the Iowa Caucus, the country will be so damaged both financially and economically by this current administration that it will not matter who is the Prez, Obawa or Santa Claus, from '12 to '16.
If Perry would just commit now, people all over the country will have a glimmer of hope in their future and will prove their need for true change coming next November.
