Does anyone know the dates for the 2011 expo I would really like to go and learn more about the industry.

ok found the answer with a google search july 22,23 good deal

Last year was my 1st show!! I was leary to put so much effort into such a event. I trusted Sean and Lawrence to book the dates.

After making my decision to set up shop to do recruiting I was amazed at all the show really had to offer. Not only do you meet new friends, learn all about other carriers, of course the different vendors and products which was fantastic cause you could only imagine whats new on the market today. But you have opportunites to speak with industry leaders in the expediting insurance field, reps from T/A, learn about who's who, you have radio hosts from sirus radio shows that I never knew existed. And then of course you have the BBQ's, late night hangouts in the parking lots making new relationships with your fellow expeditors, chances of winning door prizes(literally thousands of dollars,T.V's), it is THEEE EXPEDITE EXPO. I was soo impressed. Lawrence and his team just go all out.

And of course, I forgot to mention the outdoor music, old time trucks,casino night, etc, etc, etc. You do NOT want to miss this event. And this year will be even better from just watching the new show roll out.

I don't believe you could be disapointed. We have doubled our investment for this upcoming show and just cant wait. And of course I will be there!! That alone is worth the trip!! And of course we are gonna win the "Best In Show" truck award for the 2nd year in a row!!JK :cool: LOL:cool:

I'm trying to remember everything. I had a hardtime keeping up. They had award ceremonies, exotic animal shows, race cars, smart cars, we had our O/O's bring their trucks in the building and talk to the spectators walking thru. There was a rep from every expedite company with their trucks displayed. And EO is onsite with live demonstrations, it was just fun. I brought the family and had a great time!!

So it seems to be something that anyone could have fun at and the drivers get a chance to pickup some great knowledge.

BBQ sounds great a Argentine Asado style is my favorite. I gotta get a new small grill now for the box truck so I can bbq chicken & steaks to make the other drivers suffer at the truck stops LOL.

I am down for a good poker game and cigars ! that is if I don't quit smoking by then I just love these darned cigars they are so relaxing while laid over or dealing with a long run at late night.

Last years Expo was great. I hadn't that much fun in years. I know we already have our rooms booked. If is a blast.

I will go for 1 day and sleep in truck and then get a load out while you are all having fun LOL I am a party pooper unless we can get a poker game together LOL

Last year we had dispatchers on site helping trucks get out from Wilmington. We will again offer this service again this year. It was very successful!!

I registered and plan on being there, especially now that I will have the new Cargo Max van....it all depends on where the freight takes me...:)

EXOTIC animal shows???? Sounds like an after hours meeting in the parking lot by a bunch of C/Van drivers.:D:D
