2006 MS Streets and trips

Just purchased the new S&T trips.

One of the new features is that if it detects a WiFi signal, you can ask it to center the map on your location.This is even without the GPS being connected.

A 10.00 rebate is availaible,but ends 12/30/06.

i am still puzzled how this works, every time i try it, it can't locate me.

Your computer must be WiFi enabeled,and it ust be connected to the internet,but it does not need to be connected to a WiFi network to use the location finder.

On the tools menu click locate me.

If the known access points in your area is small,the location finder may not return a result.

Oh yea, if you are into hacking GPS, try easyGPS and visualgps sites.

The window pops up on mine even when I am not in a hot spot.
