I am willing to bet that within two years the VAST majority of us "small business owners" will not be owners anymore. This "MAN?" will see to it that all or most trucker will have to be "Teamsters" We will be forced to join or go out of business. Don't even try to tell me that they can't, they will. I am just curious, where did you read that all or most truck driver's will be forced into the "Teamsters".

I was FORCED to either join a union or pay union dues without the right to vote when I worked for the DCNR in PA. I was with the State Park system at Morain State Park, near Butler. It was bad back then with secret ballots I can not even fathom how bad it will be when these "people" pass the OPEN BALLOT law that they said that they will. By the way, that same union I was in back then agreed to allow state prisioners do OUR jobs over the winter and agreed to allow layoffs of state employees during that time. Nope, that is how it has happened all over Eastern Europe, China, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Cuba and a large part of South and Central American. 20 years of what was called "Target Studies" taught me a lot. Interviewing and working with many people who escaped the same scurge there taught me a lot. Remember the Berlin Wall was not built by us or by the Soviets to keep us out. I'm still numb. What ppl don't realize, or care, is that the ppl with money are the ones who provide jobs... not government. When Obama promises he will create jobs, it's not because he'll be nice to the job creators. He means he'll create more bureaucracy. Obama won tonight because he promised things that cannot happen without tearing up our Constitution. I miss our country already.

I don't think the Teamsters scenario will happen. However, I believe Obama, along with Democrats, will continue to be foes of those who create jobs, and force businesses to fail. That, in turn, will lessen available freight. It was a good ride while it lasted. Maybe I'll make a comeback after the coming depression. Traditionally, that is how they happen. No reason to doubt it this time around.

No, Obama won tonight because he isn't Bush, and he wasn't a Republican, plain and simple.

He was less Bush and less Republican than McCain.

In the long run, the only thing that one can really be hammered on is failing to deliver what you promised ....

Obama promised to increase AmeriCorps slots from 75,000 to 250,000 and pledged to double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011.
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," he said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded."

He said he would make federal assistance conditional on school districts establishing service programs and set the goal of 50 hours of service a year for middle and high school students.

For college students, Obama would set the goal at 100 hours of service a year and create a $4,000 annual tax credit for college students that would be tied to that level of service.

Obama said he realizes there will be skeptics, but stressed that greater public service will make the nation safer.

"Our destiny as Americans is tied up with one another," he said. "If we are less respected in the world, then you will be less safe."

Yupper ... and that wasn't by accident .... it was intentional .... calculated to cause the exact state of civil and political affairs that we have now.

The people are busy, busy, busy .... divided largely into two factions ...... which are at war with one another. Divide and conquer is the idea. What better way than to have them fight one another ? ..... lest they become united and actually take control of their government and their own lives ......

Ultimately though, the real purpose and goal was to cause a state of economic slavery for the vast majority of the populace ....

Note that I didn't say the entire populace above ....
