It is way too illegal to have more than one logbook. I know some drivers do that because they are special and more important than the rest and laws only apply to them when it's convenient. Since this forum isn't provided as a way to discuss illegal and frankly stupid practices we'll cut this off here.

There's no reason to cut anything. Ppl have suggested illegal options in the past, and the readers have policed them. You really should try to limit your "edit" finger, Leo.

The point of the thread was to discuss how things went during the first week of new HOS not to point out how one now sees how 2 logbooks would be useful. Let's try to stick with the topic the originator wanted and anyone wishing to discuss 2 logbooks take it to a new thread.

ive allwayes drove team so it will never efect me i drive 10 on 10 off cant go wron whith that besides d o t cant read the logs anyway so ull allwayes be safe:)

I am wondering how you come up with the idea that the DOT can't read a log. The only person yet to explain how logging works under the new HOS rules was a DOT officer.

Fortunently I don't have to deal with logs yet unless I go to Bama.
