for every 1 good trucker there is 1 good broker.
why dont you look in the mirror if you truely do not know how to do everything yourself then there is no good broker for you at this time.you may find strangers that will educate you but education is very expenseive.
any place they send me i get stuck. for 2-3 days until i go home empty...i would buy the insurance ( the one a have is just for their loads u know) if one broker wanna work with me...the good one
You might want to read some of the current threads concerning cargo vans. If your current game plan of going home after sitting a couple of days doesn't seem to be working, you might try a different game plan once you're on the road, especially if it's tough to get out in the first place.
have you tried load boards like the one listed at the top of the page ?
talked to a guy last week that ran completely off load boards. Said he often gets loads over $2 a mile and stays pretty busy. Hauls anything from pets to small boats he can tow behind the van to general freight. I noticed he didnt have any dot numbers or company name on the van so im guessing he wouldnt need his own authority but im no expert on the matter. Might wanna give this a try ?
