05 Sprinter - Cab Sleeper?

Ever since my Ford E-350 Alumibunk I've gotten used to a 24" sleeper - the small size allowed me to sleep as cold as -44 F without supplemental heat or idling...and as hot as 103 F with a fantastic fan cut into the door blowing at my toes.

Has anyone attempted putting a board over the seats and sleeping in the front? It would be handy to be able to grab a quick nap while fully loaded or carrying hazmat...

Havent got it home yet so I cant measure, theres a partition I dont want to mess with, no walkthrough door...

Going ahead with board and foam across the front seats. Measures 5'11 across window sills, happens to be just enough for me to stretch out. Will make "ventshades" and screens myself, with fantastic fan in removable side window adapter. It just seems like the best solution, no messing with gen or ac, cheap to build, fantastic fan lasts at least 18 hours with my walmart batteries...keeps me off the ground in a direct breeze in summer and in the cab with my Espar in the winter. Not enough money anymore in this for fancy. Anything else, and I'd have to move the factory partition, as well as carry gen, ac and gas, and spend money

I'll post pics after, might help another broke expediter
