    Beware in Dallas

I used to carry a small arsenal of weaponry in my truck, 2 different knives, louisville slugger, police level foaming pepper spray, and a large, not very friendly Rottweiler.

    Joke of the day

I see what you are saying and had I read your first post a little more closely....I would agree that it is not right to send an expedite load at LTL rate. We don't run expedite freight that much, but when we do the rate is no less $1.75 per mile plus 22% FSC. That is our policy.

    Cell Phones/Drunk Drivers

I like your interstate endorsement idea, but you know someone would find a loophole and exploit it. I think regular car drivers should have to jump through as many hoops as we do. just my opinion.

    So much for the strike!

I run exclusively off of brokers/load boards. I do haul some cheap freight, but I try to get 2-3 of these that are going to the same area, on one truck. You get 2 or 3 $1.00 a mile loads on one truck going to the same area of the country it adds up quick. Do that across and 8 truck fleet, well...

    Firearm Choices

No I was not high on PCP or Meth, unless adreniline counts. I concede that a .45 is not a beginners weapon. When I said a .45 anywhere will do the trick I have seen more than enough people shot by that caliber, stopped dead in their tracks, granted you are right that it doesn't always happen...

    Firearm Choices

Have you ever seen what a .45 round does to a human? It does a sh*tload of damage that will stop, if not kill someone in one shot. I should know, I have been shot by one. It definently stopped me in my tracks and destroyed the nerves and much of the muscle in my left arm, a little further over...

Had she aimed at his head it would have been over in 1 or 2 shots 3 tops.

    Fazing out single drivers?

Having worked dispatch in a previous job, I was far too busy to trying to cover loads to play favorites. If one truck turned the load down I would offer it to the next closest, if I couldn't cover it with any of the trucks within 250 miles of the pick up point the load was posted on various load...
