Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

Of course, it's rather extraordinary for Indyk to even say the above - given who he is, his past history, and his actual views on the whole Israeli-Palestinian situation. Some reference was made earlier in the thread about concerns over "babies" I believe ... it's fairly easy to see who it is...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

Yesterday US Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations Martin Indyk was at WINEP (Washington Institute for Near East Policy) - AIPAC's foreign policy "think tank" - and offered some comments on the demise of the negotiations. Phil Weiss covers it - with video of Indyk's comments at...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

Certainly not ... but why would you make that particular suggestion rather than something else ... or some other profession or business endeavor ? And it certainly is (or can be) a demeaning racial stereotype ... ala people from the Middle East/East owning convenience stores and the like. From...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

Aren't you the guy that asserted some craziness that eventually Christians would be thrown into woodchippers - unless they converted to Judaism ? If my memory is correct, and that was you, who exactly do you think will be doing the throwing ? Regarding history, you should acquaint yourself...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

Precisely ... ;) The two state solution is dead ... and actually has been for some time. So that leaves ... ? I'm afraid that is not the only possible outcome - there are several beyond that: 2. Both "sides" (meaning the preponderance of population on both sides) win - by the establishment...

From the Israeli Human Rights Organization B'Tselem ... on exactly who's killing ... and who's dying: Source: Fatalities after operation Cast Lead - B'Tselem ... "these people" ? ... when you use that phraseology are you referring to only those Palestinian extremists who are inclined to...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

No - just for starters, for some it's because they had their homeland stolen from them and they were forcibly displaced out of their homes and property and some of their family and friends were abused, raped, and murdered ... by terrorists ... Lehi/Stern Gang, Irgun, Haganah ... To deny it is...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

I certainly wouldn't say that everyone that "hates" Israelis - simply because they are Israelis, or in some cases are Jewish - is all about the "occupied territories" ... But at the same time I would note that there are some who would appear to be trying to sell the lie that there is no just...

Israel Is Not A Real Partner For Peace

... "they" have no monopoly on that ... not "getting along with others of their own" is not an exclusive thing to any ethnicity, nationality, religion, or political persuasion ... as history has shown us time and time again. Shoot ... this guy was boiled to death in oil at the behest of the...

    What would Jesus do?

I'm told humor, like many things, is often in the eye of the beholder ... Personally, I found one part around 38:45 (+ or - 30 or so seconds for the setup) extremely humorous ... given that it was coming from what appears to be a (non-heretical) Christian who holds a Master of Divinity ... ;)

I would agree on two counts particularly: 1. With respect to many "crimes", the punishment does not fit the crime. 2. The application of the law on the part of those charged with applying it is inconsistent.
