I think the upfront cost of $30K is very reasonable. But what is the cost on the backend? I'm sure this company isn't designing this to be a one time sale. Software updates & whatever they can conjure up .. at what cost? Think you have an issue when your cell phone is two years old & you wanna...

If you got some extra $$ for it, then you should be doing neither. If you ran that run for the same rate as it was booked .... then you should be crying. I'm usually very successful at bumping the price if the load is heavier than initially stated.

The carrier I do the most business with calculates all their loads at 45 mph. It's always adjusted to when I actually have the freight in my possession .. no questions asked. It's their practice & they stand up for it. Doesn't matter if that load has been bouncing around in cyberspace for 6 hrs...
