No Ducks. As hard as we tried Friday we just couldnt get any visable water to show up..Who where we fooling when we thought we could rework mother nature..Pond was nothing but a mud cake. It did hold a few ducks but nothing that gave us a shot. My dog Shadow really worked hard and saved the day...

Its against my better judgement,,but the truck is parked for the weekend opener..With temps in the 70s and mid 60s,,low water levels and what water we have is grass covered. There are ducks in there just no real good open spot to decoy them into us. So Tommorow will be spent trying to open up...

For the most part at least around Mich a good hunter or trapper could be found at almost any bait shop where coffee is served. If you have a problem with critters and providing you are not a city dweller not much need to hire a critter getter. Well with the expection of Bees/Wasps and Snakes...

Friend of mine showed me the other route one day..I think he said routed 3 miles to the west and it would have been a straight shot into Ky. Eliminating most of the curves all the way to the river. Its a busy drive for sure from the top of Dayton to the river.
