After coming out of the house yesterday and finding one of our super singles flat in the driveway, I can speak from experience that the tag axle on our truck can and did lift up the truck enough to limp it to the tire shop 5 miles away.

Agreed, we have never and will never park at the Ontario TA or any t/s that charges to park. (there are way to many wally worlds , sams clubs, lowes, cracker barrels, and home depots in this country to even consider paying to park overnight. )

I would think that the issue of who allows pets would not be the only criteria for choosing who to sign on with, so wouldn't you be calling multiple companies anyways? :confused:

I am pretty sure that most companies allow dogs, it's just that some shippers and receivers do not allow pets on their property.

We, as drivers who have to share the road with these busses, should be more active in reporting the unsafe actions of these drivers. Just as I would if I saw unsafe driving practices of trucks, I have called in on an unsafe bus before. The bus that I called about was a Vermont Trailways bus...

I would highly recommend the Michelin XZA3 "GREEN X " We purchased a set of these tires 27 months and 260k miles ago and they still have decent tread on them. I have no doubt that these tires will go to 325k before being replaced,and we have never had a set of steers come anywhere near that...

You got that right, just think how many times each of the old units were paid for. :eek: I also do not think that the new units with the higher costs are justified, and most of the time just as with the old units, dispatch has no idea where you are located.
