It seems that the landing gear has something to do with ownership of the truck. The landing gear on fleet trucks don't get used near as often as the O/O truck. Allways use the landing gear when loading / unloading.

How is the truck equiped. That will tell us a little more. Sleeper, Liftgate, CDL or non CDL? Will you be running local, OTR?

We do it the same way we do it at home. I do nothing, the only difference is I don't drink beer while in the truck. Leave them alone if they do the job, can't do anything anyway.
