DAMN that's a lot of DH you have done .

Was over at the office today getting new QUALLCOM installed . Had to DH 175 miles to get it done . Once done .....waited three hours .....no calls . Even though I go thru there twice a week ....still " ordered " me up to get it done . Different around there these days.

The VAN segment of expediting is over saturated . Being that you live in and around the Detroit area makes your chances better . That said .....I drive a straight truck ....so I can't really comment any further.

Meanwhile in other news .......News 10 in TOLEDO reports a WHITE VAN with south Dakota PLATES is blocking the exit to the Toledo assembly plant . Apparently there's a half eaten hot dog on the dash and the driver is fast asleep draped over the steering wheel .

If they stick out in your mind ....I guess it would quickly raise a Red flag . Are those different then the 2000 year class

I think you are on the right track thinking wise .......get a used ( relatively cheap ) straight truck that you can pay off in a couple months ( 6- 12 ) . If everything is still running good .......see How long you can go running without a payment .....then a year or so later ......upgrade .

I don't know what you were using it for but I thought it was a good deal . People were Trying to talk me out of my Cummins .....but I did the research on it and bought it and I am glad I did . Couldn't be happier .

I covered my old floor ( that was getting gaps ) with quarter inch diamond plate steel . Dispersed the forklift weight better . Only cost about $800 for a 24 ft box.

You could say that about every motor ......you got ONE bad one in your shop and they are all junk .

Don't go anywhere today unless its due east ! Its brutal ......darn near the worst sustained winds I've ever seen . I did a Columbus to Tecumseh this morning and it was BAD ! Came home right after drop and anything remotely north and south driving is horrendous !
