    The driver the poor middleman

What ever happened to the owner of a van and a recruiter communicating without getting the driver of the van involved in paperwork, such as a lease and non trucking liability. I have been sitting for 2 days scratching my head wondering why I am doing the legwork going between a recruiter and an...

    the greatest joke ever

Re: That is true about being able to haul for another carrier as long as you cover up the Tristate stickers. I saw someones driver manual,it states on page 1 at the bottom. What some Tristate O/O's do is when they have the stickers put on,they go and remove them from the rear of their van,and...

    the greatest joke ever

Bonus miles are frustraing.....Tis better to move yourself then be bonused. If you get bonused you eat the first 100 miles. Now if get bonused from Waterloo Iowa to Janesville Wisconsin, you enjoy the sights, waste 1/2 of gas in a CV,and end up with 9 bonus miles...Hmm 9 bonus miles x .10 = .90...

POLL: Did You Have ANY Delivery Experience BEFORE Expediting

Oops I missed one...I drove tandum and multi axle dump trucks hauling sand, stone, concrete, and fill dirt,at that time for a company in Swanton Ohio. I had to end that job when I got a 11,000 pound over ticket in Wood County by Bowling Green Ohio. Which resulted in a truck inspection by DOT and a...

Michigan taxes suck and the roads are really bad. The people in Michigan are rude.Their motto "get the hell outta my way". Ohio sucks, born and raised there....SE Ohio is nice where the Amish are.Indiana I always heard was expensive. Northern Ohio is the best for freight lanes. Me myself I love...

What carriers are taking on vans?

As I said in another forum,I got told No..we are on hold for vans..unless you are a previous owner. That is so wrong..So its better to help out the fleet owners than help out the O/O that is trying to get statrted in the business as I see it from that answer.
