When I get a new computerized offer I hear the app beeping first, then the phone rings. I answer the phone, put it on speakerphone and immediately fire up the app. I end up accepting the offer on the app, but the phone call is still going, telling me to press 1 to accept or 2 to decline. Then I...

You don't need to take the front end apart for the belt and tensioner on the sprinter. I have done it on the road one time and a few times at home. 30 min if you are slow. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

The only thing missing in the history is the all miles rate that is displayed in the actual offer. Other than that, perfect. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

    Bolt Express

Different strokes for different folks. I lasted one week there. The phrase 'at least you are running' didn't work for me.

    Locations & Banter , January 2019

On the subject of temperature, very warm here in TN. 54 today, we had days in the 60s last week and this weekend. But darn, I am tired of rain and more rain. Today the sun peeked through a bit, but now back to cloudy, getting ready for more rain the rest of the week. Sent from my VS995 using...

    Cargo van making strange noise.

Reading this thread reminds me how thankful I am that I had a Sprinter. 790k miles on it, never had an alignment done, and of course the wheel bearings are still original to this day. I had to change the driveshaft once though. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

No bills or obligations, simple life style. Expediting financially viable?

14hrs driving for cheap, then wait for the next 2-3 days then do it all over again. It seems to me that you are going to do this no matter what we say. If you really want to expedite, get into a straight truck. Yes, a bit more regulation, so you won't be driving like a fool, money will be...

I would be all over that $70-80k local job. A few vanners are left with half that much, the rest less. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

    Xpo or Landstar

When I was there I didn't market myself with a resume and pictures. I just did a good job and on one occasion I visited an agent. They loaded me not based on that, but based on a job well done. Unfortunately the good paying freight dried up, which I don't believe was Landstar's fault, and I...

    Xpo or Landstar

The problem is not Landstar, the problem is all the others that run for almost nothing. I was there in a Sprinter and I still have friends there in Sprinters. Landstar pays really good. I am sure if they would lower their rates to .75 a mile you guys would run like crazy. If they did, you would...

December is the One to remember

One more week for me and I will be done for this year. I added up my numbers and they have exceeded my expectations by a good margin. Time to rest for a few weeks. Well, who am I kidding? I will be working my behind off remodeling the kitchen. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

I forgot about the Omnitracs scanner. Haven't used it since the app came out. To be honest, I don't even know where it is. Hope I didn't loose it. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

December is the One to remember

I used the new scanner. Personally I like it better. I need a couple more loads so I can use it a bit more. Hehe. Guido, have you tried turning on the flash when you scan? Would that make any difference?
