What if he runs the engine and main AC long enough to get the temp down inside so all the roof top has to do is maintain it?

Somebody's telling me the 4 cylinder diesel Sprinter holds 25 gallons of diesel, insists that's the case. But when my fuel light comes on, I can only pump about 19 gallons in. Anybody have one that can confirm?

The guy in the video said 8-9 hours after it gets cooled off and switches to low.

But how would you know how many 3 pallet loads you didn't get? Maybe you missed 3 of them before getting one you could take. Theoretically.

I'm just a little concerned about giving up a couple feet of cargo space. I plan to use a nice recliner or other permanent bed setup, so I'm thinking I'd be limited to 2 skids with the shorter cargo area.

Running the numbers, it looks like diesel does better economically, by quite a bit, even with the higher price.

So what's it cost to add all this stuff? The shelving over the wheel wells, wood floor, insulation, 4 rows of etrack, installing house batteries, etc? And how much time does it take?

Wouldn't the power and mileage difference make the diesel a better choice?

Speaking of that, I saw a video on which a guy was installing a roof top AC, but it was AC powered, to run off his house batteries. Not sure I want to go that route, but it would be nice to have that much power.

So what's "a lot"? I'm guessing 1 battery of any size would be minimal. How many amp hours would be considered a lot to run a fridge, some lights, maybe one of those lunch pail food cookers, and charge the batteries on those eco-flow AC/heat units? I don't want to half-ass this setting it up.

I'm not sure how that differs from what I said, except your example uses 12v batteries instead of 6. Aren't you connecting them to increase your supply of power? Instead of 1 battery with, say, 100 amp hours, you're using 3 batteries to create a battery with 300 amp hours. Now, if I use those...
