Pretty inexpensive investment to keep your radiator clean.
It sure helps the engine to run cooler in the summer!
It also protects the cooling fins from stone chips.
The bugs, stones and winter weather grit will also blast the anodizing right off your radiator.

14 mph is probably average....based upon the way most drive.
I just wave when they blow by me at 70mph!!!
The delivery times are based upon 45 or 50 mph. There is no reason to drive at 70 mph...unless you are a Super Trucker.
My 2008 Aerocell with dual rear wheels and weighing about 2000...
No apology necessary.
MLK and the liberal media have perpetrated one of the greatest hoaxes ever.
A fornicating, adulter with ties to the Communist Party is elevated to the status of a national hero. The truth about MLK is revealed by a Reverend who lived his life by Christian values. The...

Tri State has always operated at a 35% margin; hence 65% to the truck. As a former sales manager I am familiar with the software they utilize and an administrator allowed me to review the "Back Screen" feature to see their profit margin so as to eliminate any concerns regarding greedy...
I am with you on the "white stuff".
Tampa was place of birth and I spend a lot of time on the South Carolina coast because I like the warmer climate and ocean breeze.
Unfortunately, in expediting...where the white stuff flies...so goes the green.
You may want to use the "Search" feature at the top of the page.
This will help you to review previous posts regarding a particular carrier or subject of interest.
After you read through the posts you can then send those persons a Private Message to ask questions.

There was a recent post in the General Expeditors Forum titled: "anyone getting loads".
You may want to read that post and send a Private Message to those who posted regarding the information you are seeking.
PS. I also sent you a Private Message.
Thanks Moot...I needed that.
Actually, the comunications issue was answered by Terry, but now some sleeper sales associates are telling me that you must have direct access from the sleeper into the cab. Other sleeper manufacturers are saying it is permissible to have the unit for which I have...
Thanks to all that replied.
I appreciate the humor.
Terry sent me a Private Message with the exact D.O.T. ruling.
A tip of the hat to Terry.
I don't want the bunk attached to the cab for several reasons.
1. After the useful chassis life has expired it is much easier to market a used...
Layoutshooter,
Understand that this sleeper is not attached to the cab of the truck.
There is no "walk through" from the driver or passenger seating.
It is a non-integral unit.
Based upon that information, what say the D.O.T. experts.
Question:
I am doing some research on a "Stand Alone" sleeper unit.
A sales associate told me that the D.O.T. requires some type of communication device linking the cab of the truck to the sleeper.
I guess I could understand that requirement (I haven't found the regulation yet) if one were...
Teams seem to be running on a fairly regular basis regardless of which carrier to which they are leased.
Just looking at load boards everyday I can see by the mileage posted when a given offer would have to be run be a team. Those offers far surpass what I am seeing posted for solo units.
Just think how good your bottom line would have been had you not been restricted by "Flat Rate FSC's".
Some of us were getting 52 cents per mile.
Last October I had one at 60 cpm.
The FSC was almost as much as the loaded mile rate.
I would like to publicly praise those carriers who...
Like several others my CB is always on, but turned down low. It has saved me from hitting debris and potholes on many ocassions.
I listen to pretty much everything.
Gospel, country, jazz, blues, classical, folk, bluegrass, talk radio, and rock from the 60's. (Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape...
Very good.
Yep, when diesel is high my bottom line improves.
Moreover, I own stock in several major oil companies.
And even if I didn't have a gasser...it still wouldn't be an issue.
It depends on how much sleep I have had prior to accepting a fairly long run (700+ miles).
Basically, if I begin to feel sleepy, I simply take a power nap.
Motel? I have never stayed in one during the course of my business.
Why? Cost. I am very frugal. I'd rather spend the money on...
