    Abortion

Speaking only for myself, I support both because every child should be wanted and cared for. That's not to say CPS is always in the right, [maybe they need to 'find abuse' to justify their jobs?] but I know very well that not every person who can be a parent should be.

Measles - Coming To A School Near You?

In the link provided by Pilgrim, several officials warn about infectious diseases brought by illegal immigrants: JD Hayworth, former state rep from AZ, mentions tuberculosis, leprosy, and polio. The DHS Inspector General describes respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis, chicken pox, scabies, and...

Of course it's voluntary - we choose to have the services provided by government, and they aren't free, so we all help pay. Those businesses that don't help pay benefit from taxpayer provided services too, and is that socialism, in your opinion? You referred to the link I cited as "silly...

    What are my options?

Also: the issues that prohibit Yolo from getting a med card are tachycardia [fast heart rate], hypertension [high blood pressure], and asthma, not apnea. Not telling the second doc about the apnea diagnosis won't make the other issues go away, so a second opinion without an apnea diagnosis won't...

    What are my options?

The dishonesty is between you & your conscience, but should you be involved in a serious accident, don't think for a minute it won't be discovered and used against you. I would still advise telling the truth: the last doctor said he/she believes I have apnea, and I believe he/she is mistaken...

Liberal News' Biases and Double Standards.

Somehow, I missed the story of ol George making beer, wherever he did it, because it definitely wasn't covered in any history class I sat through. Paul Revere's ride was, because it's a legend in our history, [whether it's factual or not], right up there with Pocahontas saving Captain John...

Magical 'Hobbit' ring toting fourth-grader in media spotlight - Odessa American: Education The photo clears up the mystery of putting the ring on one's head, but it adds a few more, because the Principal claims confidentiality forbids an explanation ["nothing to see here, move along"]...

    What are my options?

Addicts shop for a doc who will prescribe drugs. Hypochondriacs shop for a doc who will tell them they have a real medical issue [or several of them]. People with undiagnosed pain shop for a doc who can find the cause. There are various reasons for doctor shopping, other than drug seeking, but...

    What are my options?

That's what's known as "doctor shopping", and it's one of the reasons we have to use only docs on the 'approved' list. It's unethical to withhold info you know is pertinent, and it probably wouldn't help in this case anyway, as the issues are secondary to apnea, and they're still unresolved...

    Nashville TA

The TA in Duncan is one where I always park in front, especially if I'm doing laundry, because the exit door next to the washers & dryers leads right to that lot, lol. Park at the Pilot across the street, you have to carry the stuff up numerous flights of steps instead.

I understand this concept: if I don't give money to the government, it can't provide the infrastructure and services I rely upon to conduct my business. The government doesn't "confiscate" money, it is a voluntary arrangement, and it has worked pretty well for more than 200 years...

Generators Any one used or using this Generator?

I did a quick drive through the Love's in Vandalia, Ohio today, and saw several XPO vans parked there, in front. Oh, and one Nations Express, too. Funny, I don't usually pay any attention to the front lot, but I wanted to get in & out quick, so I cut through the front. ;)

Garbage inspection, coming to your neighborhood?

Cato's 'study' assumes recipients get all the available welfare, which is just ludicrous. There are 7 programs: Temporary Assistance To Needy Families [notice the first word? Seed-Hogging Squirrel Gets Pranked

I agree that we shouldn't be spending way more than we take in, but the R side only wants to make cuts [in taxes & programs], whereas it seems we should also be considering the 'taking in' side of the equation. And the misconception about welfare is just abysmally ignorant: it doesn't pay...
