There are a lot of things that make driving for a living scary. Bad weather, black ice, crazy 18 wheelers, etc. What scares you the most? For me it's people texting while driving.

But I wanted to take the survey and complain too.:D

Is this a short? I was testing my batteries with a volt meter this morning and discovered something odd. With the ground cables removed from the batteries I tested between the negative battery post and the fuel tank and got a reading of 12.8 volts. I repeated this test at several other points...

We can now use off duty driving when predispatched as long as we have a full 10 hours sleeper or off duty before going on duty to make our pick up. Meaning, as in our case, instead of sitting here for two days in a truck stop waiting for our restart and Monday pick up, we can drive 2 miles to go...

So far the 30 has not been a problem. It's stupid, but not a problem. Dispatch adjusted an ETA to pu once for us so far. Doing a 34 now. Shayne will have 72 hours before her 34 is done. I drove to be close to our pu so mine will only take 34. Sent from my EVO using EO Forums mobile app

We bought a new lap top with windows 8. I am using Windows Photo Viewer and attempting to email a photo. I have Yahoo mail as my default email program and when I click on mail that is what it goes to. My browser is Google Chrome. I get a message that says, "There is no email program associated...

Now I'm wondering if it was a bad starter, kill switch or corroded cable that was draining my batteries? I guess I'll find out when we go back in service tomorrow.
