    Plagiarism

A good analogy would be if you traced Mickey Mouse and then signed your name to it!

    How far will you go?

If you are going to run the high dollar art work then a courier is going to come with it. You make the choice to take the load with the courier. The pay is good on those loads so most people decide to put up with a courier. For most people the pay is to good to just say no. There are horror...

    Tolls

OVM you are exactly right it is so much easier and faster to have a transponder. Just think of it this way hopefully you are so busy fulfilling your HOS that you will not have time to enter each receipt separately. I also hate to keep track of all of our food receipts as the Standard Meal...

    One more Question

The good deal is for them. With the price of fuel it would be a lot more cost effective to drive below the speed limit and just put the fuel savings in your pocket then you do not need to worry about a speeding ticket.

What have you been doing to improve MPG? Anything?

Our top speed is 58 m.p.h. does not matter what state we are in. We have not been rear ended yet and I sure hope it stays that way. We do actually pass other trucks once in awhile so I know others are also running very slow due to the fuel prices.

    Tolls

Even using the figures you can see that going through tolls booths is a hit and miss thing and we are always hoping to be in the miss category.

    Tolls

Your tolls depend on what size truck you are running and if you are a solo or team. A solo driver based out of the NE will spend a lot on tolls each month. We as a team are all over the country. We can go several months with no tolls then we have a month were we will have over 200.00 in...

    Fascinating Advertisement

Terry how the heck did you find this place? You need to get a load and get busy. I do have to say that is the first advertisement that held my attention and I kept wanting to see what would happen next. Good Post!

What have you been doing to improve MPG? Anything?

We have done most of what you have done with your truck to save on fuel. We have taken the Turbo D Vada off and are in the process of doing a test to see how it truly did affect our fuel milage. We will be putting the Turbo D Vada back on March 1st. Two things have helped us the most out...

    new reefer business

What I find interesting is that posters who do not drive for FedEx Custom Critical and some of them for many years are the ones posted that the end of FedEx Custom Critical White Glove is coming to an end. I wonder are they all trying to save us FedEx Custom Critical O/O or trying to validate...

    tips on pumping fuel

Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up--most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom. This one though is...

    Rookies looking to change carriers

The key though with FedEx Custom Critical is if you do not have enough experience you only need to pass a drive test which is a lot less expensive then the school. You do need a Class A or Class B though first. When I started I had my Class A but I did not have enough recent experience so they...

How to cope the slow season?

It is hard and frustrating to go from running as hard as you can in December to what can feel as a complete halt in January. We have had very good Januarys and also very slow January's just depends on if we get our selves out of the freight lanes. This is looking like one of our worst...
