Greg, I just did a search for Projector Ellipsoid System Halogen Headlamps, and all I came up with was links for "automobiles" do you have a link for these for big trucks? Am I being stupid? Does it matter the vehicle? :(

Congratulations on your first year out! :) I hope you can get out of Portland too. We learned the hard way that Portland isn't the most load friendly area for our truck. Remember, the load is only a good one if you don't get stranded.

The road you refer to "Officially" has been referred to, incorrectly, as the "Stremnaya Road". It's called the North Yungas Road. Just a quick "google" search shows many websites debunking the mis-naming of this road. Good pictures though :)

Alborada, Did I understand correctly that you changed companies so that your husband could be home more often? If so, why did you change to an Expedite company? Most often expediters stay out on the road for longer periods of time. I'm confused by the language, but I am willing to try to...

Leo, this is a great point! We have a set of radios, but didn't use them because we had our phones. Next time we're home, I'll be digging them out again. :)
