Do you have a breaker bar?

Excellent advice Xiggi! I have always carried a "cross" wrench with the 4 different size sockets. It worked well until a few years ago. Someone, somewhere along the line got a little overzealous when tightening the lug nuts. I was able to get them loose but rounded the corners on a few. Now...

Only 80,000 miles on a van used in expediting and it needed a front brake job? Did the $600 include new rotors?

Cargo Van Need opinions on van replacement

I'm not sure Ford messed up with the short wheelbase. I don't care for it, but I'm an expediter. Ford's target market is small package delivery and trades-persons where maneuverability is more of a concern than weight distribution.

Bill, even with the airlift kit I would think a heavy pallet on the assend would cause some lateral sway. These Transits will require a little more thought when loading.

Cargo Van Need opinions on van replacement

Yeah, what Leo said. It's all about weight distribution and ease of loading. Even with two skids, the lighter weight skid went in first. Easy in, easy out. I've seen too many extended Ford E series blinding airplane pilots with their headlights. My new Transit will require extra effort to...

    Another Panther Lawsuit

Thanks Dave. I would have been a new customer of Progressive. Guess I will deal with insurance through the Cat. I can't believe how difficult i'ts becoming to replace my former van with a new one. I called Panther at 10:30 this morning to talk with Gilby. Driver Relations told me to talk...

    Another Panther Lawsuit

I just got off the phone with the nice people at CIS. I was calling to secure insurance for my new van. CIS writes policies through Progressive. I was informed that due to a pending lawsuit, Progressive no longer offers new policies to vehicles leased to Panther. Does anyone have any further...
