    what size truck?

We are running a DR unit now. Just wondering out loud I guess. Seems like we run ALOT of small/light loads. I most likely will go with a D when we do buy but that will be a while yet. Need to get more money together and a bit more experience under our belts. We plan on going to MATS and see what...

    what size truck?

Well people, I have been at this since last May. I have learned alot but not enough yet, that is, if you can ever learn enough. First thing I learned, this is a riot!! Most fun I have ever had. Second, I can earn a good solid living. Won't get rich but it beats the tar out of retail. Third, I...

    reefer B units?

I guess that I have seen two different ones then. One was a Sprinter and one was on a Chevy platform. Was just wondering. I drive a D unit but records show that 80% of the loads would fit either on a B or C. Just thinking ahead when I go to buy my own truck. SOOOO much to learn about this business.

    reefer B units?

I have seen some B units over the past few months that appear to have reefer units on the roof. I thought they might be just aux air in the cargo box but they seem to be to big for that. I thought I read that Fyda was producing a reefer sprinter as well. All the units I have seen with these...

    WIFI AntennaOK

OK everyone, back here looking for more expert advise. I am not very happy with the truck stop internet service. I have an internal card on my computer with no antenna. I think that the lack of antenna is the main problem. Who knows where to find a USB mobile antenna? I guess that is what I...

    auto chain

Thanks again, E.O. always helps me when I need it. I just got back from a run to Alaska. I got VERY lucky and did not need to chain up at all. It looks like it might be worth the money for the system. I hate putting on chains, Joe

    auto chain

OK, don't laugh, but do the auto chain up systems work? How do they work? Do they work as advertised? I have been using chains since I was a pup but if there is a better system I am all ears. Joe

    EZPass

I HATE stopping at toll booths!! I have been trying to look into EZPass, has anyone done this? It seems like you have to apply to each state, is this correct or is there a central place to get this service? Thanks in advance, Joe

Been out for a 3 week shot this time. Had a lot of fun, lots of loads. We sat very little and most likely could have ran more. I am learning a ton and more than making a living. Why didn't you guys tell me about this 10 years ago? LOL. On the road again soon. Can't let the grass grow under the...

    I did it!

Yep, so far I like it alot. I will enjoy it more when the wife goes out to drive with me, that is the next step. I did have what I thought was a good week. The owner of the truck said it was only so-so and that I would see better weeks. I am really looking forward to getting back out there. I...
