Having a FFL opens one up to inspection by the BATFE. There is no need to have the federal government involved in everyday citizens exercising their rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights.

I don't know, I have never had to do that. I know when I bought a rifle at an out of state shop I had to ship it to a shop. Same when I bought a lower receiver. I had to pick them up at the shop. Even though I had already did, and passed, a NICS check when I bought them.

When a firearm is purchased "through the mail" it has to be sent to an address with a FFL. Like a dealer, gunsmith, etc. As far as I know the only time a firearm can be sent directly to an address without an FFL is when a firearm is being returned from a gunsmith to it's owner.

Yeah, I am 100% sure that ALL criminals, terrorists and other's like them always try to buy their guns legally and are stopped by background checks. :rolleyes:
