I don't believe any carrier has an incentive to lease on an owner that has such specific load requirements as you have posted about. I would think a small carrier that works only load boards would be a better fit for you. They are more apt to look for and book the specific loads you require.

Has anybody picked up freight that went expedite due to the ice storm. I would think LTL carriers are beginning to get backed up and some customers may want their shipments expedited. Could be a good week for expediters.

I wouldn't buy new going into this blind. I would guess one would take a 20% hit just driving off the dealers lot. Put 40,000 miles on it in six months and find out expediting isn't for you, take another 20% hit.
