If its anything what they pay their drivers then probably not worth it. .70/mi. + fsc (probably somewhere around .08/mi). Not to good in my book. I see alot of Panther cargo vans sitting.
That explains why I haven’t hauled any 48x40 pallet loads because i have never been to a grocery whse and don’t plan on it. Also, you forgot the infamous 30x30 for fasteners and the like.

Was just thinking about this topic and I have to say that the state authorities are actually out to screw the ones who are trying to surcumvent the law. As long as you continue not to play by the rules you will be screwed (your words not mine).
No loads at all so far for this week. Currently in Birmingham al. No calls yet and its about that time for things to happen. Not a happy camper right now.
I do things right and by the book. Never have had a problem and been doing this type of work for 21 yrs now. Btw I also have been a fleet owner not once, not twice but three times and still no problems. Must be doing something right.
That was with the MS2 tire. Had the defender on the 2012 when it died. Don’t remember how many miles were on them. Will have to look it up when i get home.
