It’s the July slowdown. Automotive plans are usually on a 2-3 week shutdown due to maintenance and line changeover. Hang in there, August should be a better month.

Crossing into or out of Canada the border patrol prefer the FAST card over the enhanced license mainly because they have done a thourgh background check.

As far as I am concerned it has been a July slowdown for the most part of 2019. As for the real July slowdown, some plants will be 2 weeks and some others will be 3 weeks all depending on how busy that segment of the auto industry is. Lately they have been on a rotating basis. No reason rhyme...
