    Promaster Disaster

Yeah, I installed OPT7s two years ago, both low and high beams. The high beams are lacking a bit on distance but the low beams are fantastic. Nice sharp white, wide beam that doesn't blind oncoming traffic. On my Transit when I first turn on the headlights I get a short warning chime followed...

Place you felt the least safe in

Sometimes I get a gut feeling about the safety of place I plan on sleeping at. The J just southwest of Birmingham comes to mind. I got fuel and parked. After watching out the windshield for a short time, my gut said move. So I did and went north to a Wallyworld. I've stayed at the other J...

Or saggy boobins. If there ever is an International Men's Day, the inverted sign looks like testicles minus the middle thing.

I agree. I believe Ford's thinking both with the Econolines and the Transits is their main market is trades people, city delivery and people movers (passenger wagons) where maneuverability is more important than weight distribution. Despite the short wheelbase I bought a Transit anyway. I...

Using our current company truck for part-time contract runs

As mentioned most expedite companies' freight is tendered "exclusive use"; one shipment, one truck, one seal. Why not do some research into LTL load boards. You may find loads that fit and are along your routes. Probably won't pay much but something is better than nothing.

It's a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world ... On the surface, it looks like a crowded truck, what with 3 people. Looking a little deeper it appears some form of polygamy is at play. Further scrutiny to determine the sex of the person with the husband and wife... .

Now Texas, another shooting- in a church

Grizzly, why did you rate my post #63 with a "Disagree"? It is a fact that Dick's announced last week they would no longer sell what is termed assault rifles. Cabela's continues to sell these guns. I can understand you finding the post in poor taste and rating it with a dislike or not...

Now Texas, another shooting- in a church

They are working to end abortion and capital punishment. It's the people behind the guns that are the problem. Most of these people who commit mass shootings end up dead. Either by their own hand or law enforcement. The kid in the recent Florida school shootings was captured alive. Why not...

Leaving a van in gear or even in park while loading/unloading with a lift truck could certainly lead to transmission problems. I always set the parking brake before putting the transmission in park.

An old parody of a Hollywood anti gun video. I've posted this before but worth a repeat.
