There's a back highway to the north, down a mountain, it's been too long to remember which, but it was a beautiful view coming down and seeing the lights of El Paso at night....

Ever wonder what bored Canadians do for fun? These guys are just down the road from me. (Don't waste your mobile bandwidth, but do watch if you think pointless destruction and almost losing a chunk of ass is fun)

I used Rustoleum and lots of thinner for my paint job. Every two years I use a product called Crud Cutter and it shines like new (Cheapest wash is nature)

    Need Help -Finding Expedite Shipments

Sylectus is the most common here. I don't know about cheaper, I can only report from a driver perspective: you need 1 year in business, 5 trucks and a $3000 "fee" You could give them a call and see what the broker deal is... and do me a favour and report it back here, just curious

Why expedite if you have a CDL?

You can be home as much as you want to. If I drive 1000 miles, in a van, not only do I make near $2000 (cdn) gross for it, but I can turn around and drive right back if I need to. Try that in a TT. That's not to mention the $400 or so (cdn) I can make daily going 4 hours from home, and coming...

Truck loan with poor credit / good pay history / down payment /

You could just get a cheaper truck (cash). 10 times the research, lots of extra work keeping an eye on maintenance, but you wouldn't be a statistic if something unexpected happens Isn't 50k the range when the big companies sell and don't want the risk anymore?

    Cargo van making strange noise.

I was working on my Ford E350 every few months. Later in life I realized the empty weight of 7400 lbs (diesel) did the suspension no favors. It did however last a million miles for the engine and tranny with no repairs

    Cargo van making strange noise.

Yeah, I know. One word: Michigan I used to break E350 shock mounts off going there. Sprinters still ok

    Cargo van making strange noise.

Good. I've regreased the bearings once on my sprinter, and never touched them again 790k. I can't stop myself from visiting the configurator on mercedes sprinter site (new weight capacities) so it's good to know I have time to save up

I've been known to shove a tiny piece of paper on the back of the sim to improve contact. More likely, if sim and card are in the same tray, it's losing contact just enough to disconnect. (Maybe Huwawei made the sim and they're spying on you)

Trucking in the 50's Give it a watch if your sitting. I don't know what's more unbelievable, 8 hours on and 8 hours off, or watching 5 mechanics at once service a tractor They did 220,000 miles a year back then too (albeit at 50 mph) looks like it was a respectable profession. Funny was the...

    Cargo van making strange noise.

Dollars to doughnuts it's a u joint, wheel bearings usually make noise at all speeds. (Had lots of experience with wheel bearings in my Dodge vans, every 3 to 6 months @ 500 miles a day. When the races break and round metal rollers start pinging off the fenders, fun times)

    Cargo Van Rogers, Mn T/A...

Well...as an emergency I will use a Walmart first, truck stop second... Last 12 years, first rest stop on the way home has served me just fine. Got tired back in 2006 of self important employees / bored police knocking on the van. Never been bothered by anyone at a state rest stop, ever. And...
