At home, a bit under the weather. Besides, it's too cold to be out driving around.

Growing up in the 1960's, even with 2 parent households, pot and booze use was an issue. Anybody that doesn't think so, is looking at the past with rose colored glassed. IMHO, of course.;)

But crime and single parent homes, is not the issue at hand. The issue is, is marijuana equivalent to alcohol?

Proof is evident, due to the fact that even in the glory days of the 2 parent family, the issue was prevalent.

Ok, fine! Centuries. My point is the break down of the family structure has nothing to do with the issue.

Yes, parents were there, and consequences were paid, but the issue still continued to manifest itself. The family structure had nothing to do with it, even in our golden years of the complete family.

I get real tired of hearing about todays family structure as the root of our social problems. Pot and alcohol usage within the younger generation has been an issue for decades, including most of our growing up years.

Using this scenario, I would agree that the American people have been lied to. However, to think everything the government does or doesn't do is part of a grand conspiracy to enslave the people is foolish. IMO of course.
