    July's Roads & Loads

There are a lot of things I don't understand. I'm 1000 miles North of you and today will be 10° hotter up here. I also don't understand why an oil tanker stuck in Iran is expected to raise the price of gas in America?[emoji848] Sent from my moto z3 using EO Forums mobile app

Still in Jersey waiting to get my rear end working. Ford never came through, which turned out better because yesterday I was up in Massachusetts a got a used rear/axle unit for 1/3 of the price. Less than 50K so should hold up for a little while. Hopefully back out, and air conditioning working...

As above, no. The truck didn't sit in the water. It stalled and got pushed through in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately some water found its way into the cylinders. As far as the rest of the undercarriage it wasn't much different than driving in heavy rain. Why the rear end problems? Who knows...

    July's Roads & Loads

No, that was 200,000 miles ago and I drained it, cleaned it, inspected it, changed the gasket and refilled with high end synthetic last August. I could have had bearings, clutch & a couple gears replaced for about $2400. But now I get factory rebuilt rear AND axles with 2 year warranty for about...

I was in Philly today (Dr appointment) and had to go up to top floor and was thinking about my many trips up that WTC elevator up to Windows. That was one scary elevator ride. Worked & lived in Northeast Jersey then.[emoji26] Sent from my moto z3 using EO Forums mobile app

Can't really compare. Mom Care and other issues kept me off the road for 12 out of 26 weeks. All miles down .02 so tolerable, need to get out and rolling for some longer uninterrupted stretches. Sent from my moto z3 using EO Forums mobile app

    2015 Ford Transit Maintenance Costs

100% agree on the Hankook, about 65K, then did the Continental - no better. Firestone has been good. I swap out around 5 - 6/32. I've not been consistent with rotation so I pay the price by having mis matched tread depth. Still I have done well with the Firestone. Can't believe that Ford is...

What really surprised me is the extent that Amazon has upped their game in freight and product distribution. I believe it was first quarter of 2016 that they started putting their own trailers on the road. At that time - zero vans or planes. And, unlike other major players (UPS, XPO, etc.) They...

July is "borderline" OK for the companies that have their own fixed customer base like L1, Bolt, FedEx, etc. Otherwise it becomes a feeding frenzy for brokers that love seeing the blood in the water[emoji3064] Sent from my moto z3 using EO Forums mobile app
