    Multi-Carrier Thread

What carriers does everyone suggest that you run for if you do not want to be tide down to just one? Also what else would you need besides insurance to run for multiple carriers? (Under 10,000lbs) I know myself and fiance have decided to run straight, but I am curious!

    60/40 Split in a straight?

Thank you that is what I was thinking as well. The 60/40 with drivers getting 60 seems to me a better way. You could write all of the fuel expense off at the end of the year. Depends on how the contract is written you could write the truck off as a lease. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using EO Forums

    We have decided!

There is nothing wrong with needing to know where your truck is. That is not the point I am making. The point is that some owners will make you turn loads down that is not up to their profit line not understanding that when you turn the loads down they play it against you and you be put at the...

    We have decided!

I remembered the fuel tax when I was trying push number down the page of paper. But with expediting there are no real income level you can go by, from what I have learned from the people I have spoken with that is on the road. When you have your good months set a side for those bad ones. From...

'American Taliban' Lindh fights group prison prayer ban

I'm sure he will get his wish. As a person in that standing of the United States needs to be pulled from society and tied up and bound. While the Christians throw Holy Water on him at prayer. Then bless him with a hard knock of the good book.:) Sent from my Nexus S 4G using EO Forums

    Non CDL Straight Truck Question?

Ok the truck I have found has a diesel engine in it. It has 220 hp. It has a 72" sleeper along with a 16' box. No lift gate. Where I live is FL. No home time required due to no small children. I am starting in this to make money not being home setting around. The truck I have found is under...

    Non CDL Straight Truck Question?

OK Guys and gals this maybe a stupid question, But the recruiter will not answer questions straight forward she acts like she does not know the answer. Will Panther put a straight truck on that is rated for less than 26,001? From what I can read on here their are not many out on the road...

Looking to bring a cargo van on with a carrier.

This seems like it is a real back stabbing business with expediting. It seems like my old company I was in before I had to close the doors on it. In the market that I am in they were 2 companies doing what I was bringing in to do. I went from 1 truck to 6 trucks in less than 1 1/2 years. then...

Looking to bring a cargo van on with a carrier.

Thanks. From what I can read the average pay is around $.95-$1.10 a mile including FSC. Is this a common fact that no matter what carrier you sign on with this is the average through out?

Looking to bring a cargo van on with a carrier.

Thanks Turtle that is what I was looking for. Now the next question. Is sprinters paid at the same rate as CV's or a little more? I have a 2011 Ford F350 extended cargo, but now I am worried that wont be enough room to have a comfy sleeper in. I have been looking at a sprinter with a 170" base...

Thank You everyone that has replied! Now if someone could answer the question of cost, that would be great. I am not worried about it to much I just have a bet with the fiance of what the start up cost would be. Very good points about the GVW on the door what happens when it falls off! LOL! But...
